What information does the platform collect?

  • Email address

  • Password

  • Credit Card details (we never store this information)

Where is information collected from?

  • The website

  • The iOS app (email+password only)

Where is information transmitted to?

  • Email, Password and Address details are transmitted to our customer database

  • Credit Card details are transmitted to Stripe

How is information transmitted?

What happens to user data after it arrives to our servers?

  • It gets encrypted using SHA1+Salt

Where is our database hosted?

  • Amazon RDS with firewall protection providing only cluster servers access

How do we protect our databases?

  • User authentication is done through SSL and POST

  • We check for bots on authentication, add a restriction through an IP "blacklist" and limit to 20 calls from any single IP and 5 attempts per session.

What other security practices do we follow?

  • We reset everyone's passwords if the database is compromised.

  • We have an 8 character minimum length for passwords.

  • We never log passwords in any manner.

  • We never store user passwords in plain-text.
